Search for any Yolia concept and open its exact file. The Library is independent of Sandbox, Labs and dashboards: those surfaces only link here.

The Library explains physiology, biology, chemistry, modules, combinations, stages, preparation, reasoning, evidence and limits. Private details of formulas, quantities, dosages, internal weights or authorizations remain subject to the actual delivery gates.

This Library is updated continuously. The underlying content is already complete on every entry; we keep polishing the writing, entry by entry, so it reads clearer and more precise over time.

FULL PROFILE

The 17 points of this module

Each section opens separately — tap the title to expand it.

1. Code, name, species

RCa-01 — Structural Calcium. Rosa spp. This module belongs to the Rose Catalog family, within the Base Nutrient / Life Cycle functional class, and is prepared as a ferment within Yolia's complete catalog of documented safe modules for the species in this system.

2. Application method

Root watering (to the soil). This method was chosen because it distributes the contribution gradually toward the area where the plant can absorb it, being consistent with the rest of the Rose Catalog family's modules documented in this catalog. Documented within the complete catalog.

3. What the real problem/need is

Calcium doesn't move easily within the plant once absorbed (unlike nitrogen, which the plant can recycle from old leaf to new). That's why a calcium deficiency shows up first in the NEWEST tissue: petals that look brittle or have deformed edges.

4. Exact function

Providing bioavailable calcium to strengthen the cell wall in actively growing tissue — petal, new sprout, root tip. This specific function is what Yolia's engine evaluates when considering whether module RCa-01 is relevant for a case within the Rose Catalog family.

5. Chemistry

Eggshell calcium carbonate, when toasted and finely ground, becomes more reactive and soluble in the fermentation process. The released calcium ion (Ca²⁺) integrates into the cell wall forming calcium pectate — a compound that literally interlinks the pectin fibers.

6. Preparation method

[Ferment]. The shell is toasted first (this helps it grind finer and release calcium more easily during fermentation) and ground before combining with water. As a ferment, this preparation process is what determines the final availability of the active compounds before.

7. Mechanism

The root absorbs dissolved calcium via water flow (transpiration) — that's why calcium reaches tissues with low active transpiration (like an already-formed petal) less effectively, and actively growing tissue with high transpiration more effectively. This mechanism is what Yolia's engine documents.

8. Stage of use

Continuous, with emphasis on pre-flowering (when the new petals that will need that structure are forming). This stage was chosen because it is when the plant can best take advantage of this specific contribution, within the general logic of the Rose Catalog family documented in the catalog.

9. Frequency

Every 10-14 days. This frequency seeks to sustain the effect without saturating the plant, considering the stability and preparation method specific to this ferment module within the Rose Catalog family. Documented within Yolia's complete catalog of safe modules.

10. Stability

5-7 days refrigerated. This stability time reflects how long the preparation retains its activity before losing effectiveness, being relevant for planning the application frequency of this ferment module. Part of the complete set of technical entries in Yolia's catalog.

11. Concentration

Low-moderate; the exact proportion is calibrated at purchase. This concentration level is adjusted according to the sensitivity of the use stage and the specific function of this module within the Base Nutrient / Life Cycle functional class of Yolia's complete catalog.

12. How the engine processes it

Capacidad `estructura_calcio`.

13. Compatibility

It directly complements [RSi-01] silica — both reinforce structure through different pathways. This compatibility is reviewed within the Compatibility Engine before including this module together with other elements of the Rose Catalog family in the same formula generated for the case.

14. What to expect

Firmer-textured petals, new shoots that do not dry out at the tip. This expected signal helps verify whether module RCa-01 is working as documented within the Base Nutrient / Life Cycle functional class of Yolia's complete catalog of safe modules.

15. If misused

Excess calcium can block the absorption of other minerals (magnesium, potassium) through competition — it is not directly toxic, but it unbalances other nutrients. This is the risk that the Risk Engine considers before approving a higher concentration or frequency for this ferment module.

16. Special precaution

None critical for rosebush. This precaution is part of the safety documentation for this RCa-01 module, reviewed within Yolia's complete catalog of documented safe modules for cultivation. Part of the complete set of technical entries in Yolia's catalog.

17. Related to

[RSi-01] Structural Silicon Reinforcement — [Plant cell wall] — [R-P05] Petal Density These relationships help understand how this RCa-01 module connects with other elements of the Rose Catalog family and the Base Nutrient / Life Cycle functional class within the complete catalog.
