Search for any Yolia concept and open its exact file. The Library is independent of Sandbox, Labs and dashboards: those surfaces only link here.

The Library explains physiology, biology, chemistry, modules, combinations, stages, preparation, reasoning, evidence and limits. Private details of formulas, quantities, dosages, internal weights or authorizations remain subject to the actual delivery gates.

This Library is updated continuously. The underlying content is already complete on every entry; we keep polishing the writing, entry by entry, so it reads clearer and more precise over time.

FULL PROFILE

The 17 points of this module

Each section opens separately — tap the title to expand it.

1. Code, name, species

RAF-03 — Chamomile Antifungal. Rosa spp. This module belongs to the Rose Catalog family, within the Defense functional class, and is prepared as an infusion within Yolia's complete catalog of documented safe modules for the species in this system.

2. Application method

Root watering (unlike RAF-01/02 which are foliar — this protects the root and stem base). This method was chosen because it distributes the contribution gradually toward the area where the plant can absorb it, being consistent with the rest of the Rose Catalog family's modules.

3. What the real problem/need is

"Damping-off" (seedling drowning) is caused by several soil fungi (genera *Pythium*, *Rhizoctonia*, and similar) that attack the base of the stem or the root of cuttings and young seedlings — it looks like a stem that appears "strangled" or blackened right at the substrate line.

4. Exact function

Protect the root zone and stem base of a young cutting/seedling against soil fungi — a different moment and goal from RAF-01/02, which protect mature leaves against foliar fungi. This specific function is what Yolia's engine evaluates when considering whether module RAF-03 is relevant.

5. Chemistry

Chamomile (*Matricaria chamomilla*) contains compounds documented with real antifungal activity against soil fungi, including flavonoids with an inhibitory effect on mycelial growth — this is why 'chamomile tea' is a classic and well-documented practice.

6. Preparation method

[Infusion]. As an infusion, this preparation process is what determines the final availability of the active compounds before being applied within the Rose Catalog family's program. Consulted by the engine when building a formula for the case.

7. Mechanism

Applied as a soil drench, the liquid bathes the root/stem-base zone where these specific fungi attack, creating a less favorable environment for their development right at a young plant's most vulnerable point. This mechanism is what Yolia's engine documents when evaluating the real function.

8. Stage of use

From the moment of cutting stems or transplanting seedlings, throughout the entire root-establishment period. This stage was chosen because it is when the plant can best take advantage of this specific contribution, within the general logic of the Rose Catalog family documented in the catalog.

9. Frequency

Every 5-7 days during the most vulnerable phase (first 2-3 weeks of the cutting's life). This frequency seeks to sustain the effect without saturating the plant, considering the stability and preparation method specific to this infusion module within the Rose Catalog family.

10. Stability

5-7 days refrigerated (more stable than RAF-01, without such volatile compounds). This stability time reflects how long the preparation retains its activity before losing effectiveness, which is relevant for planning the application frequency of this infusion module.

11. Concentration

Low — young tissue is more sensitive. This concentration level is adjusted according to the sensitivity of the stage of use and the specific function of this module within the Defense functional class of Yolia's complete catalog. Part of the set of technical sheets in Yolia's complete catalog.

12. How the engine processes it

Capacidad `defensa_biologica`. El motor lo prioriza específicamente en casos marcados como "esqueje nuevo" o "trasplante reciente", distinto de los otros antifúngicos. Así es como el motor de Yolia evalúa la inclusión de este módulo RAF-03 dentro de una fórmula.

13. Compatibility

Compatible with [R-01] rooting agent — in fact they are recommended together within the same time window. This compatibility is checked within the Compatibility Engine before including this module together with other elements of the Rose Catalog family in the same formula generated for the case.

14. What to expect

A higher rate of cuttings that survive rooting compared to not using protection. This expected signal helps verify whether the RAF-03 module is functioning as documented within the Defense functional class of Yolia's complete catalog of safe modules.

15. If misused

Low risk, young tissue can be sensitive to high concentrations. This is the risk the Risk Engine considers before approving a higher concentration or frequency for this infusion module within the Rose Catalog family of the complete catalog.

16. Special precaution

Use a conservative dose, seedling/cutting tissue is more delicate than a mature plant. This precaution is part of the safety documentation for this RAF-03 module, reviewed within Yolia's complete catalog of documented safe modules for cultivation.

17. Related to

[R-01] Cutting Rooter — [RAF-01] — [Damping-off: common soil fungi] These relationships help explain how this RAF-03 module connects with other elements of the Rose Catalog family and the Defense functional class within Yolia's complete catalog.
