Physiology, chemistry and modules: learn the why behind each Yolia decision.

Index → chapter → topic → full explanation

Search for any Yolia concept and open its exact file. The Library is independent of Sandbox, Labs and dashboards: those surfaces only link here.

The Library explains physiology, biology, chemistry, modules, combinations, stages, preparation, reasoning, evidence and limits. Private details of formulas, quantities, dosages, internal weights or authorizations remain subject to the actual delivery gates.

This Library is updated continuously. The underlying content is already complete on every entry; we keep polishing the writing, entry by entry, so it reads clearer and more precise over time.

Source-Sink Balance (X30)

FULL TOPIC

Source-Sink Balance (X30)

Easy explanation

It checks whether what the leaves are producing is enough for what the flowers and glands are demanding at that moment. If they demand more than is produced, the system flags it.

Medium explanation

It needs the source-sink balance to be at least 65%. It's a gauge of whether the plant can sustain, with what it's already producing, the level of demand you're asking of it toward resin.

Advanced explanation

It requires source_sink_balance ≥ 0.65; otherwise it reports SOURCE_SINK_BALANCE_LOW. Unlike the Flow Sentinel (which looks at transport capacity), this tool looks specifically at the balance between what's produced and what's demanded.
