Search for any Yolia concept and open its exact file. The Library is independent of Sandbox, Labs and dashboards: those surfaces only link here.

The Library explains physiology, biology, chemistry, modules, combinations, stages, preparation, reasoning, evidence and limits. Private details of formulas, quantities, dosages, internal weights or authorizations remain subject to the actual delivery gates.

This Library is updated continuously. The underlying content is already complete on every entry; we keep polishing the writing, entry by entry, so it reads clearer and more precise over time.

FULL TOPIC

Witness plant

Easy explanation

It is a plant or a group of plants used as a comparison reference against another that received different management. It helps determine whether an observed change is really due to that intervention. Without this point of comparison, it would be hard to tell cause from coincidence.

Medium explanation

It helps determine whether an observed change also occurred without the same intervention or condition applied to the other plant. Yolia considers it when evaluating whether a specific action actually had the effect expected of it. Without it, any reading loses solidity.

Advanced explanation

A control intended to reduce causal confusion between what actually caused an effect and what merely coincided with it; its validity depends on baseline similarity, management, and tracking quality. Without a good control, it is easy to confuse a real effect with a coincidence.
