How to read Weather and alerts

You don't need to understand everything at the same time. Choose how deep you want to go.

What are you seeing?

Here Yolia compares temperature, humidity, and other air data with the plant's current stage.

Why it matters

You don't have to memorize numbers — Yolia lets you know when a weather combination deserves your attention.

How to think about it

First check whether any alert is active; if there isn't one, you don't need to analyze every number separately.

Very simple example

30°C can be perfectly tolerable in one context, and problematic if the air is also very dry and the root cannot replace water in time.

Option 7 — Root flushing (soil flushing)

When to use it: if you notice signs of salt or nutrient overload in the substrate (burnt tips, white buildup on the surface, or before a strong recalibration). It is a reversible option: it does not change your formula, it only cleans the substrate so the next application works better.

  1. Calculate the triple-water rule according to your pot's liters (P5): for example, a 15L pot needs 45L of clean water for a complete flush.
  2. Adjust the pH of the flushing water to 6.0–6.5 before applying it — a pH outside that range does not release accumulated salts well.
  3. Pour the water slowly and let it drain completely before pouring more — never apply it all at once.
  4. Repeat the pouring until the water coming out of the drain runs crystal clear, with no color or visible sediment.
  5. Sentinel's mandatory handbrake: after the flush, Yolia freezes irrigation for 72 to 96 hours so the substrate dries and the roots breathe oxygen before resuming normal irrigation.

Important: Don't water again before the 72–96 hour window ends, even if the substrate feels dry on top — that rest is necessary for the root to breathe oxygen after the flush.
