Biological eustress is a real principle of plant physiology: a controlled and deliberate stress — never harmful — that pushes the plant to produce more than one defense or reserve compound. In Resin & Trichomes, that compound is the resin of glandular trichomes.
Yolia only suggests it in the flowering, fruiting or ripening stage — never before — as an environmental management protocol that you control in your own growing space. It is not a dose or a fertilizer, and it does not go through the engine that calculates your formula.

The real protocol, step by step
- Raise the space temperature to 27°C–28°C.
- Lower the relative humidity to ~35%.
- Apply a nighttime thermal shock of 15°C–16°C.
- In the last 48–72 hours before cutting, apply total darkness (complete blackout, no light).
The security padlock (CATASTROPHIC_LIMIT)
Before suggesting it, Yolia checks your log and your control plant. If you find any of these signs, the protocol shuts itself down — it never suggests stressing a plant that's already doing poorly:
- The case is in protection mode (the crop needs to stabilize first).
- The risk level of the case is critical.
- The last observation of the control plant reports general symptoms (possible wilting or leaf necrosis).
- The reported vigor of the control plant is 2/5 or less.
- The recent log contains a serious warning word (withered, necrosis, died, completely dried up, burned).
This is not an animation designed just for the Sandbox: it is the same protocol — with the same security lock — that Yolia shows today inside the real workspace of a paying client at Resina & Tricomas Lab.
