Stalled crop, no biochemical adjustment

Glandular trichome density estimated by visual inspection of the crop. Simulation for demonstration purposes — a real result always depends on genetics, management, and each crop's specific conditions.

What's behind this simulation? See the real scientific protocol

Biological eustress is a real principle of plant physiology: a controlled, deliberate stress — never harmful — that pushes the plant to produce more of a defense or reserve compound. In Resin & Trichomes, that compound is the resin of the glandular trichomes.

Yolia only suggests it in the flowering, fruit-set or ripening stage — never before — as an environmental management protocol that you control in your own growing space. It is not a dose or a fertilizer, and it does not go through the engine that calculates your formula.

The real protocol, step by step

  1. Raise the space temperature to 27°C–28°C.
  2. Lower the relative humidity to ~35%.
  3. Apply a night-time thermal shock of 15°C–16°C.
  4. In the last 48–72 hours before the cut, apply total darkness (complete blackout, no light).

The safety lock (CATASTROPHIC_LIMIT)

Before suggesting it, Yolia checks your logbook and your witness plant. If it finds any of these signs, the protocol switches itself off — it never suggests stressing a plant that is already in bad shape:

  • The case is in protection mode (the crop needs to stabilize first).
  • The risk level of the case is critical.
  • The latest witness plant observation reports general symptoms (possible wilting or leaf necrosis).
  • The reported vigor of the witness plant is 2/5 or lower.
  • The recent logbook contains a serious alert word (wilted, necrosis, died, dried out completely, burned).

Esto no es una animación pensada solo para el Sandbox: es el mismo protocolo — con el mismo candado de seguridad — que Yolia muestra hoy dentro del espacio de trabajo real de un cliente pagando en Resina & Tricomas Lab.

Consult the real advisor (live, no data saved)

Choose a stage and a state for the witness plant. This calls the same engine live ResinEustressAdvisor engine that checks the CATASTROPHIC_LIMIT lock in the real Laboratory — not an animation, not fixed text.

Glandular viewer and biosynthetic pathway (illustration, same lever as above)

This is NOT a real photograph — it's a schematic illustration that reacts to the same "Activate Biological Eustress" lever from the previous section, so you can see the idea without faking a photo we don't have.

Status: milky translucent (protocol inactive)

Real biosynthetic pathway (BH-01 / BH-02)

BH-02 (gelatin nitrogen) is withdrawn only during flowering — that's why its line appears cut off. BH-01 (sulfur, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, manganese) is the active pathway toward resin at this stage.

Real source:

Morphology and genetic chemotype (real case data)

Yolia stores these two pieces of data as-is in your case (genetic_morphology_hint, genetic_chemotype_hint). Today they're informational — they don't activate any other engine by themselves — and we tell you that plainly, without inventing an effect the system doesn't have yet.

Flight console · 8 real gates (Stage 8.5.1)

This calls the same real 8-gate evaluation engine the real Laboratory uses before even considering activating the Resin & Trichomes specialized module. Move the controls and watch each gate open or block with the real thresholds — like a real control panel, not an illustration.

What it controls

What it measures: which phase of the glandular cycle the trichome is in right now.

Outside "Secretory": blocks Gate 1 (if "Unknown") and removes one of the requirements for Gates 7 and 8 to open.

In "Secretory": it is the only phase that lets Gates 1, 7 and 8 pass without objection.

Where it's used: Gates 1, 7 and 8.

What it controls

What it measures: how certain the declared botanical identification of the specimen is.

In "Low": blocks Gate 4 and Gate 8, and also prevents the general engine from marking the case as a safe candidate.

In "High" or "Verified": meets the identity requirement at both gates.

Where it's used: Gate 4, Gate 8 and the general safety check.

What it controls

What it measures: the risk level declared for this case.

In "Critical": on its own sends the whole engine into protection mode, regardless of how the other gates are.

In "Standard" or "High": it does not block on its own — the result depends on the other gates.

Where it's used: general safety check, not an individual gate.

What it controls

What it measures: how much physical damage the glandular trichome's structure has.

At 0%: no damage, it puts no obstacle in the way of Gate 3.

At 100%: Gate 3 (Secretory integrity) is blocked as soon as it exceeds 15%.

Where it's used: Gate 3.

What it controls

What it measures: how much capacity the glandular head has to retain what it produces.

At 0%: blocks Gate 3 immediately (it needs at least 60%).

At 100%: maximum capacity, it meets the threshold with no problem.

Where it's used: Gate 3.

What it controls

What it measures: whether the plant produces (source) and transports (sink) in balance.

At 0%: blocks Gate 2 (it needs at least 65%) and adds a negative observation to Gate 7.

At 100%: opens Gate 2 unconditionally.

Where it's used: Gate 2 and Gate 7.

What it controls

What it measures: whether what is generated can move and be used later in the chain, not just be produced.

At 0%: blocks Gate 4 (it needs 65% + High/Verified identity) and also Gate 7.

At 100%: meets Gate 4's numeric requirement (it still depends on identity).

Where it's used: Gate 4 and Gate 7.

What it controls

What it measures: how developed the specimen's overall glandular capacity is.

At 0%: adds a negative observation to Gate 7 (it needs at least 60%).

At 100%: meets that requirement with no problem.

Where it's used: Gate 7.

What it controls

What it measures: how well the plant recovers from an intervention or stress.

At 0%: blocks Gate 8 (it needs at least 75%).

At 100%: meets the recovery requirement.

Where it's used: Gate 8.

What it controls

What it measures: how solid and verifiable the case evidence/documentation is.

At 0%: blocks Gate 8 (it needs at least 75%).

At 100%: cumple ese requisito de evidencia.

Where it's used: Gate 8.

What it controls

What it measures: how many stress factors are affecting the plant right now.

At 0: puts no obstacle in the way of Gate 8.

Above 0: any active stressor blocks Gate 8 — there is no "tolerable level", a single one is enough.

Where it's used: Gate 8.

What it controls

What it measures: whether the 6 health signals (plant, root, water, pest, disease, thermal) are all in order.

Unchecked: blocks Gate 8 immediately.

Checked: meets the requirement — all 6 must be fine, a majority is not enough.

Where it's used: Gate 8.

What it controls

What it measures: whether a person has already authorized reviewing this case — the engine never decides this alone.

Unchecked: blocks Gate 8, without exception.

Checked: meets that requirement of Gate 8.

Where it's used: Gate 8.

What it controls

What it measures: whether the lipid source used is traceable, not oxidized and has a declared function.

Unchecked: blocks Gate 6 (Omega lipid compatibility) immediately.

Checked: opens Gate 6.

Where it's used: Gate 6.

What it controls

What it measures: whether the three context data points (time, light, temperature) of the observation have been recorded.

Unchecked: Gate 5 (Glandular clock) stays at "data missing" — it never calculates an exact cut time, it only confirms whether there is enough context.

Checked: Gate 5 moves to "observation context ready".

Where it's used: Gate 5.

What it controls

What it measures: whether a critical-risk alert is active right now, apart from the declared risk level.

Checked: blocks Gate 7 immediately, regardless of how its other variables are.

Unchecked: puts no obstacle in the way of Gate 7.

Where it's used: Gate 7.

0/8GATES ONLINE

No gate by itself authorizes delivery of formula, ingredients, or dosage (formula_delivery_enabled, ingredients_delivery_enabled and dose_delivery_enabled are always false in this engine) — it's an evaluation-and-flag-only system.

Declared chemotype monitor (not an engine calculation)

Honesty first: Yolia doesn't yet have an engine that calculates the exact percentage of primary or secondary resin acid or terpenes in your plant. This shows your declaration (the same genetic_chemotype_hint from the selector above), not a real measurement.

Thermal decarboxylation reactor (general science, not a Yolia engine)

This does NOT call any Yolia engine — it's an illustration of resin chemistry widely documented in public literature: heat converts the plant's raw acids (non-psychoactive) into their active forms. A controlled oven (~105°C–120°C, for several minutes) does this conversion with little loss; a direct flame (>300°C) burns most of the compound instantly instead of carefully converting it.

What are you seeing?

This screen summarizes the entire case and tells you what is known about it before you have to decide anything.

Why it matters

It gives you the big picture first, so you don't interpret a loose detail without knowing which case it belongs to.

How to think about it

Don't try to read it all at once: look first at plant, stage, goal, and Laboratory status, in that order, one thing at a time.

Very simple example

It's like the cover of a medical record: first you know who it is about and what is being investigated, before reading any lab result.

Look at this first:
  • Plant and stage
  • Objective of the case
  • Tour status
  • What is protected
Yolia explains before decidingPrepared data, evidence, unknown and next action are displayed separately.

What is Yolia watching?

Aroma, trichomes and secretory capacity within the genetic potential

The reading combines identity, environment, roots, water, light, climate, objectives, risk and evidence.

What he doesn't invent

A value that is not part of the file is kept as unknown. Yolia explains what is missing and how to get it before a real decision.

Objectives of the case

  • glandular expression
  • trichomes
  • fruity aroma
  • flowering
  • protection

Starting risk

A risk does not automatically become a recommendation. It is first contrasted with capacity, context and observable signals.

You ask for fruity aroma and maximum glandular expression. What should be checked first?

The selection only demonstrates how Yolia separates a prudent path from an uncertain or overloaded path.
