HOW WE WORK
How a Yolia formula is built, engine by engine
A Yolia module is not an abstract concept: it is the real recipe of a ferment or treatment, with its times and its yield.

A Yolia module is not an abstract concept or a number in a table: it's the real recipe for a ferment or plant tea, with verifiable ingredients, times, and yield. Module F-01, for example, is literally called "Zucchini + toasted oats + turmeric + Swiss chard", and its instruction stored in the system says, verbatim: “Wash and cut zucchini · Toast oats 3-4 min and grind · Grate turmeric · Chop Swiss chard · Blend everything with water and molasses · Ferment 52h at 22-28°C covered with cloth · Cold-crash · Fine strain · Yields ~150ml · Store refrigerated 5-7 days. Yolia's real catalog currently has 102 modules, 79 ingredients and 334 module-ingredient relationships, grouped into four product families — Biokit Atl-Tlālli v3 (50 modules, the main line), Refuerzo X30 (35 modules, complementary reinforcement), Biokit Piloto (10), and Refuerzo X30 Piloto (7), the latter two being reduced versions for the entry-level plan.

A chain of 21 engines, not a calculator

When you ask to "generate formula," it is not generated instantly: it triggers a chain of 21 scientific engines executed in a fixed, auditable order. Each engine reads what the previous ones left behind and can approve, warn, or completely block the process — if something does not add up, the flow stops right there and nothing is saved. This is the real journey, grouped by what each stretch resolves.

Context and botanical identity

1

Case Context Engine

It validates that your case file is complete: ten required fields, available hours between 1 and 168, number of plants between 1 and 5,000 — and that the case really belongs to you.

2

Botanical Engine

It looks for a real profile for your species and stage. It has an explicit hard rule: if your plant is a tree (apple, orange, lemon, avocado), it blocks immediately — Yolia does not cover trees today. If the profile found is generic, it tells you so, not pretending a precision it does not have.

Module selection, architecture, and enhancement

3

Matrix of 25 rules

It requires exactly 25 active rules against your declared environment: pressure, altitude, water and soil pH (hard block outside 4–9), conductivity, wind, radiation, humidity, and extreme temperatures. From this comes which "functional bases" your formula needs and which it must avoid.

4

Module Combination Engine

A real beam-search optimizer (beam search, width of 96 simultaneous states) builds the module-by-module selection, evaluating coverage, synergy, redundancy — and immediately discards any combination with a hard conflict.

5

Master Architecture Engine

It groups the candidate modules by real catalog family (it never invents a family) and selects up to 3: primary, supporting, and specialized, with up to 4 guaranteed “anchor modules” per family.

6

Maximum Potentiation Engine

It expands the core by adding, one by one, the module with the highest verifiable actual gain, as long as there is loading margin per phase — in three modes (balanced/maximum/dracula, the latter for severe climate stress). If two modules are incompatible, it doesn't eliminate power: it relocates them to different phases.

7

Plant resource dynamics engine

It models your plant as a real transport system: root absorption, xylem/phloem, reserves, source-sink. It hard-blocks if the saturation risk reaches 92% or more — if you're asking it to process more than it can handle.

8

Module compatibility engine

The cross-audit of everything above: 13 simultaneous checks, zero vegetative-nitrogen modules in the reproductive phase during flowering/fruiting/ripening. It's the only one at this stage that already writes to the database.

9

Module Validation Engine

The last gate before modules turn into a formula: unique identity, hours within what is available, at least one ingredient, assigned phase.

10

Self-ingredient safeguard

It keeps your own crop from showing up as an ingredient in its own formula. If it detects the match, it looks for a real substitute and scales it; if there's no substitute, it removes the ingredient instead of letting it slip through unnoticed.

Biochemical science and assembly

11

Biochemical Engine

It translates your botanical profile and the modules into concrete biochemical functions — and literally states, in its own output: "Does not demonstrate causality or field results."

12

Formula Assembly Engine

It adds up the validated ingredients at two levels: global total and per-phase total. It does not assume everything is mixed in a single tank — it respects the phase separation from the previous engines.

Quantitative scaling and preparation

13

Scaling Engine

It turns the reference recipe into the real plan for your batch. If a reference data point is missing, it withholds the amount instead of making it up. It calculates whole batches of recipe, always rounding up — it never promises an unvalidated fraction of fermentation.

14

Preparation planning engine

It builds the real work sequence per module: steps, hours, pH and temperature window, storage conditions — validating that nothing exceeds your available hours.

Chemical science and full audit

15

Chemical Engine

It converts each ingredient to grams and adds up the declared NPK load. It detects specific hard conflicts, like a target pH outside the physical 0-14 range.

16

Scientific Audit Engine

It combines botany + biochemistry + chemistry into a single hierarchical decision: if any is blocked, everything is blocked. Only with all three domains complete does it reach "preliminary approval" — and it explicitly states which validation stages remain pending (regionalization, advanced chemical safety, dosing, experimental validation).

17

Structural Audit Engine

The most demanding gate: 24 simultaneous checks which must all be true, from the case footprint to saturation and waste staying below 92%. If something fails, it blocks and lists exactly what.

Delivery, persistence, and approval

18

Reporting Engine

It assembles the final 9-section report you are about to see — but only once the structural audit has already passed.

19

Persistence Engine

It writes your formula, its version, and the entire scientific evaluation to the real database — the only point where the case file becomes permanent.

20

Delivery verification engine

The final gate: confirms valid identifiers, unblocked science, a consistent report, at least 2 phases — and that the notice "prototype not authorized for field use until dosing, regionalization, stability and final safety are complete" is present.

21

Output Approval Engine

The last link: it logs the approval and marks your formula as structurally approved. If the science was blocked, it rejects the output even if it got this far.

These 21 engines are Yolia's commercial heart, but they aren't the only ones in the system: there are also 3 twin engines that run this exact same logic within the free Sandbox without ever writing to the database, 7 independent engines that resolve specific decisions (Laboratory risk, adaptive recalibration, agro-climate, Yolia 40 calibration), and 2 additional advisors — among them the one that governs the Biological Eustress Lever that you can try for free. In total, 35 active engine classes in production.

YOLIA

A real calendar, with a schedule

Eight sequential phases, from hour 0 to the hour-72 reinforcement.

A real schedule, with timing — not a single mix

Yolia does not mix all the chosen modules in a single container or apply them all at the same time. The program is organized into eight sequential phases, each with its own start-time offset relative to the program's launch — a deliberate physiological timing, not a single dose.

HOUR 0

Bioactivation, signaling and transport

Program start-up: prepares the plant to receive the rest of the phases.

HOUR 12

Root, soil, water and oxygenation

Root base before specializing any other function.

HOUR 24

Mother core: Biokit / nutritional pulse

The guaranteed nutritional core of the formula, chosen from the parent architecture.

HOUR 36

Vegetative and structural specialization

Structure, branching, vigor — according to what your real stage needs.

HOUR 48

Flower, fruit and quality specialization

Fruit set, color, aroma, flavor — the block that kicks in strongly during flowering.

HOUR 60

"Dracula" defense and adaptation

Buffering against heat, cold, drought, humidity, wind, radiation, and salinity.

HOUR 72

Reinforcement, replenishment and reserve mobilization

Recovers what previous phases consumed.

HOUR 96

Conditional / separate correction

It only activates if a specific diagnosis of your case requires it.

Five layers of safety, not a single check

Capabilities with evidence and confidence. Each module comes with its real capabilities (type, key, stage where it applies, weight, confidence percentage) — the system decides with traceable evidence, not "by eye".
Compatibility rules by context. Each pair of modules is evaluated against the case's real environment (heat, cold, wind, waterlogging, indoor/outdoor). A hard block is never shown as an option — the same combination can be valid in one context and forbidden in another.
Final audit of 24 checks. It includes the reproductive nitrogen lock: zero vegetative nitrogen modules in the floral phase during flowering, fruit set or ripening. And the 92% saturation and waste cap, always.
Phase separation instead of removing value. When two modules must not coexist in the same mix but both add real value, they are separated into different phases at least 24 hours apart — instead of simply removing one.
Guard against the self-ingredient. Prevents your crop from ending up as its own ingredient (the real example from the code: "fresh carrot" in a carrot case). It automatically substitutes or removes the ingredient if there is no safe substitute.

What exactly you see when your formula is ready

Quick statistics — structural potential score, number of modules, number of phases, functional coverage.
Quantitative scale of the lot — how many plants, how much concentrate in ml, how many modules were scaled vs. "Held" for lack of a reference, density per m² — with the explicit warning: "Do not spread this formula over more plants than declared", because the amounts are calculated exactly for your number of plants.
The program phase by phase — each phase with its order, when to apply it, and within each module: its purpose, an ingredient table with exact amounts, and the full step-by-step preparation (numbered instruction, duration in hours, temperature range, target pH, how to store).
Technical details of the scientific engine — a collapsible panel for anyone who wants to see the full reasoning.
Final scientific status — the honest reminder that it is still "a prototype — still on the way to full experimental validation".

If you have not confirmed payment yet, you only see the module and phase count, with a prompt to unlock ingredients, amounts, and the full schedule.

Your formula doesn't stay frozen

There are three ways Yolia reviews an already-delivered formula, and all three depend on real evidence from your log and your control plants — never on a silent change:

Manual recalibration — you go through the module selection again with the updated file; the same 21 engines run again, in full. The previous version is never deleted.
Automatic recalibration notice — runs every time you upload a note. It never triggers anything on its own or charges you: it only decides whether to recommend that you enter the manual flow, with at least 14 days since the last adjustment.
Real automatic recalibration (Resin & Trichomes Laboratory only) — it activates only with a hash-verified photograph, and only if there is no critical risk, the reported vigor is 3/5 or higher, and your note contains no alarm words (yellowing, wilting, pest, fungus...). The engine itself is honest about its limit: it does not analyze the photo's pixels — it only confirms that it exists and checks that the structured evidence is consistent.
