Frequently asked questions
What is Yolia?
−
A platform that combines real botanical science, biochemistry, and functional chemistry to generate nutrition formulas tailored to your crop — not a generic fertilizer recipe.
Do I need to know chemistry to use it?
+
No. You describe your crop and your situation, and the scientific engine takes care of the rest. If you did not declare something important, the system asks you instead of guessing it.
Can I try it without paying?
+
Yes — go into the Sandbox and generate a real Resin & Trichomes, Roses, Tulips, Orchids, or Gourmet case, with the same scientific engine paying customers use, without registering.
What is the difference between Laboratory and Yolia 40?
+
Laboratory is the specialized service by crop type and specific objective, with three levels (Diagnosis, Targeted Formula, Advanced Laboratory). Yolia 40 is the ongoing week-by-week accompaniment for any plant, with periodic calibrations and a final formula when the cycle closes.
How long does a Yolia 40 cycle last?
+
The actual duration is calculated based on your crop — between 4 and 104 weeks — instead of always forcing a fixed 40 weeks, so as not to waste follow-up on short cycles or cut it off too soon on long ones.
How does the tracking of my crop work?
+
With a log (weekly notes and photos) and control plants: a representative subset of your batch that you observe closely. That real evidence is what allows recalibrating your formula when needed, instead of guessing.
Can my formula change on its own without telling me?
+
No. When the system recalibrates, a visible event is logged that you can always check — total transparency, never a silent change.
How is the price decided?
+
It's a monthly subscription that combines your service line, your plot size, and your account role. For Yolia 40, it's additionally adjusted based on your country (Yolia Solidaria), with real discounts for those who have less — you don't declare anything, the system calculates it on its own.
Does it work for cooperatives or governments, or only for one farmer?
+
For all three. Cooperatives and governments have their own organization panel with member rankings, cases by region, and a legal file — and all of them use the same scientific engine, with no reduced versions.
What happens if my batch is too large?
+
Batches of more than 5,000 plants are not processed automatically: they require a quote and special sector validation, so a large agro-industrial operation isn't treated as if it were a single plant.
Is my data secure?
+
Yes, we follow real security practices: protected sessions, encrypted passwords, and automatic blocking of suspicious attempts.
Where can I learn more about the science behind Yolia?
+
In the Living Library — our public scientific encyclopedia, independent of the Sandbox and the user panels, with hundreds of sheets on physiology, chemistry, modules, and the reasoning behind each of the system's decisions. You can also see the complete journey of the 21 engines on the Formulas page.
Is there anything for students or research projects?
+
Yes — the "University Zone" within the Sandbox is freely accessible with no registration: an environmental simulator to manually adjust temperature, humidity, wind, or rain and watch the actual engine react, and a mass-testing tool that runs hundreds or thousands of random combinations against the Laboratory's same real risk engine, designed for agronomy and research projects.
What is the Biological Eustress Lever?
+
A Resin & Trichomes Sandbox simulation that illustratively shows how glandular trichome density changes when an actual controlled biological stress protocol is activated — with a scientific panel next to the lever explaining the real mechanism and the safety lock backing it. It is not a promise of a field result, it's a demonstration of the engine's actual reasoning.
